New Beginnings
Sometimes I get apprehensive when I start something new. I can't help but think that I might fail again. I also think about what other people may think about my new venture (again). But I realized that it's not good to start a new beginning in a negative way. So I quickly shift my perspective and decided to think only good things about the new ventures I'm about to take.
For my first venture, I am planning to be active on this blog again sharing our experiences as a budget homeschooling family. And since it is another new beginning, it's only fitting to change this blog's name again to something related to the theme of the upcoming contents of this blog. I welcome you to the Budget Homeschooling Mom blog!
I chose this name because it really resonates with me since we are homeschooling on a budget. Just to clarify we are not homeschooling because we don't want to pay for tuition fees and just save the money. We are not homeschooling to save money. We are homeschooling because we want to and we feel that its what's best for our son. I share a post on this blog previously about the reasons we decided to homeschool our son Jarvis. You can read that here.
The truth is, homeschooling isn't cheap. It can also be expensive since we are bringing some materials into our house. Meaning there are so many books and materials to buy. However, there are ways to reduce the cost of homeschool if we can be creative and resourceful and I feel that I am both. So I decided to share how I try to reduce the cost of our homeschool for preschool on this blog. So you can expect DIY projects, affordable finds, free printables, and affordable printables.
Speaking of affordable printables, I want to share with you where you can get them. I just opened a new printable shop. Horray! I call it Shop Budget Homeschooling Mom on Instagram and Facebook and Budget Homeschooling Mom Shop on Teachers Pay Teachers. Basically, the goal of my shop is to bring interesting, useful yet affordable printables into your homes to support your homeschooling journey.
It is available to local homeschoolers in the Philippines using Peso as currency. You can check the details here on how you can order and you can check here or here all the available printables. You can find my free printables here as well. Make sure that you are following my social media to get the latest update. Just click the icon on my blog header or sidebar to get to my social media sites! See you there!
Whew! That was fun! I hope we'll keep in touch! Thanks for being here!!!
